Induction jobs and tefal ingenio

Very excited to be getting a new kitchen in the next few weeks and a lovely new induction hob. Next job is to buy pans suitable for induction hobs. Does anyone have any recommendations ? Saw some tefal ingenio pans the other day which I really liked. Fairly expensive although deals on at different places. Does anyone have any others they would recommend or have these tefal ones that they love or hate for whatever reason?

Ikea do some surprisingly good ones and if your budget can stretch our le creuset work great too!

Cast iron ones like Le Creusets and Chasseur are pretty indestructible. We also have some Judge and Prestige ones that still look fairly new after about 8 years!

Oh no not le creuset! I already have some black pans which have lasted about 20 years just staring to leak now and have become too heavy for me really. I know they will work but don't think DH realises this so he's happy to buy new!

I do love my ingenio, great pans but definitely the best storage ever, saves so much space and looks neat and tidy, I'm a fan really. Have them for about 4 years now, daily and intense use, and still in great shape

That's good to know neshi the storage is one of the plus points and I like that you can buy a set or exactly the pan combination that works for you. I think my mind is set!

I've just switched to an induction hob and am liking the IKEA 365 pots/frying pans. Also got a couple of judge which are nice to use. I'd have a look in TK Maxx, I picked up a few there for really good prices.

We have Ikea and Circulon pans. Had them 3 years since the new hob was fitted.

Ikea frying pan will need replacing within next 12 months, Circulon look like new but we hand wash them.

We also have Ikea stainless steel pan for rice/sauce and that still looks amazing.

Thanks for your responses. IKEA is not so easy for me to get to but I'll have a look at the circulon ones.

I loved my Tefal Ingenio- purely because of the detachable handle meaning they were really versatile (use as saucepans or oven dishes, and transfer dishes between job and oven) but mostly because it made storage rally efficient in my tiny kitchen. I never got round to buying the other accessories for them but there's a good range.

We got some from IKEA but they weren't non-stick (about £90 for three) so they rarely get used.

We've got a Tefal outlet near us so have a few random Jamie Oliver Tefal pans from there.

Keep considering the ingenio.... Could take camping!
