Anyone up for a CLEANING MISSION??!!

I happen to have a few hours off, i'm just about to put my baby to bed and the place is not looking good.......

i want to
empty all bins
put clean washing away
put a joint of beef in to cook
tidy toys
hoover and mop
empty draining board
put some washing on
and generally make my house sparkling...

so does anyone fancy joining me and rewarding ourselves at 2pm with a cuppa tea?

i would join you but both dc awake (2 and 6 months) and are requiring a lot of attention today! but i manage to get on mn often

Right. I wanna do the bottom of my stairs and the bathroom....

im back, my house is practically immaculate except from 2 boxes of stuff that were delivered today, they are on the stairs and the laundry bag that is in the living room but that is the only bit of my house that i would class as untidy. I'm sitting here with a cup of coffee.

So the only bit of list i didnt do was put a load of washing on but i will do that when the floor is dry and ive had a cuppa plus i traded that job for cleaning the bathroom and tidying my bedroom so it's ok

I sorted out some laundry and I put a wash on.

I should actually be clearing up all the lovely dust from the contractors doing the windows! I have no mindees till 3pm.
Obviously though i'm not cleaning, i'm here

oops never noticed time!!! i e/dishwasher and loaded again. cleaned surfaces

made beds aired rooms.
changed girls sheets
whilst looking for new duvet covers ended up sorting out hotpress which took up all my time hence late
got beds made with beds mats disposable on
madel lunch for d/d
had to eat lunch with her
put dark wash on
found laundry in tumble dryer forgotten about

so having a pint of water now

finally got a move on thanks to you lmg's

off to do rest of list.

so behind with laundry wish it would just do itself.

we used to do 15min cleaning threads, cant remember who used to start them but they were good for me, got me used to doing things quickly and here i am now a few years on able to clean the whole house in an hour and a half..........even with dd2 in bed....

managed to finish off chores

still a long way to go but it is a good start. just have to clean out goldfish bowl hate that job!!!

we bit of girlie pampering with them creams and nails basically and into bed.

and anyone else that wants to join in, i very much doubt i'm going to have time to join in today though with 3 under 18mths lol but im supporting you i cleaned my house yesterday so isnt too bad.

I am going to have a quick tidy up before i do the school run and that should do for a bit. If i do get chance to clean i'll pop back.
