Does colour run remover really work?

It's 100% my husband's fault. Bright yellow dusters in with white cotton do the colour run remover products really work? Or should I just cut my losses and bin it all?

I've had a similar issue with yellow dusters - put a wet one on top of the curtain by mistake. I've never been able to get the yellow out. Colour run has worked for me on other colours though. You might be luckier with the yellow

I guess i have nothing to lose except the £3.50ish it costs
