How to clean a glass shower screen?

Recently moved house and have a glass shower screen for the first time. No matter how hard I try, I can't get rid of all the soap marks. Any ideas? I'm in a hard water area.

Window cleaner spray and a good scrubbing. Then when it's clean just use a squeegee after showers to keep it looking good.

White vinegar and water mixed 50/50 in a spray bottle with a decent squirt of washing up liquid.

I use the daily shower spray after every shower, I've used it for years and really does stop the build up of soap/grime/water marks.......I never have less than half a bottle in the house. Doesn't matter which brand as they all seem the same to me, Aldi's own brand is just as good as Mr Muscle.

the car window wash solution. really inexpensive.

Magic eraser - or a Karcher window vac.

Second for white vinegar and water in a spray bottle.

Viakal spray on limescale remover to get rid of the build up (you will have to leave it on for a while to get it all off), and then daily shower spray and squeegee it for maintenance.

I bought a set of two cloths in Lakeland. Wet one and scrub. Then dry with other. Magic.

The only way to keep it looking good is to completely dry it after every use. I use a window squeegee and then a towel. I recommend you dry all the taps handles etc with a towel as well, every time the shower is used.

It might seem like a bit of a faff, but it only takes a minute and it saves hours of cleaning.

Forgot to add, if you simply dry it each time, you won't need to use any chemicals on it at all. I have had my shower since 2009 and have never needed to use a chemical cleaner on the glass.

In the end I used Cillit Bang limescale remover. It really worked but I felt awful about what it might do to the planet.

Second cillit bang limescale remover. Then I scrubbed it after it had been in for a few hours. Then water and vinegar and a squeegee. Now I just squeegee after every shower and use water and vinegar when cleaning the bathroom. It's stayed perfect so far!

It's not so bad for the environment and it's not as harsh as cillit bang, which can also be more damaging to your bathroom.

I use Cif cream on mine.

my shower screen instructions said to use diluted vinegar once a fortnight and to dry it with squeegee and an ecloth after every use. I dont keep on top of it enough which I regret.

You need some kind of acid or an anti limescale spray. Soak paper towels with the spray and stick them to the glass. Leave for an hour or two, then wipe it all off, throw away the towels and clean with a normal glass cleaner.

Afterwards if you can get some kind of wax finish like people use for cars, that helps prevent water from drying on it in the first place!

Or you may discover after trying all these (and more) that some marks just will not shift and have basically etched into the glass

I use the old fashioned Jif or whatever they call it now. It's like magic.
