I've done my whole list

I don't mind starting threads etc, I was just beginning to think I was taking over. I'll carry on if I'm up (on mn) first then

asleep - I'm glad you felt better for going out. Keeping busy is good.

What is a community cohesion meeting?

OP posts:
grouchyoscar · 09/01/2007 18:05

Basically it stems from a government iniative to find out what factors create division in society. Not just race issues but things such as housing, health, crime, education and the like.

Hopefully some good will come of it.

Jelley · 09/01/2007 18:09

Sounds interesting. I've never seen anything like that here...

I was amazed that our council requestedit tbh. It was interesting and I never ever imagined that some of the issues raised were occuring on my own doorstep

flamesparrow · 09/01/2007 18:37

Finish washing up done

Shine sink

Blow nose many many times done

ludaloo · 09/01/2007 18:38

oh your poor nose flame! You've been doing that all day..I hope it improves soon for you! {{HUGS}}

JustIvor · 09/01/2007 19:21

Hello luda. There has been an added complication for Thurs, though it is still possible. Dd wants to have my docs appointment in town at 10.10am so I'll have to pick her up and return her to school. I can still make the supermarket at 11am or it could be the Leisure Centre if that suited you just as well. Which would you prefer? I need to mention too that I might run late if the doctors does, which is likely. What do you think?

asleep · 09/01/2007 19:24

i've blitzed the downstairs (with a bit of help from DP to be fair). all i need to do is put on another load of laundry.

glitterfairyrenewed · 09/01/2007 19:27

HI everyone have been rushing round today so much am exhausted and the house looks like a bombs hit it. Will at least shine my sink and hoover one room but that is it for today. Tuesdays are my most rushed day and I looked at my mileage and realised that I drive nearly 120 miles today so perhaps that is why!

thewoodlandfairy · 09/01/2007 19:40

knackered to day, all that back to school and work stuff. At least the bloody sink's tidy and i've had a frisson of excitement this morning as i opened the cutlery drawer - is this sad or not? Day off tomorrow so am giving in to my, 'bugger the pantry' feelings and will do that with tomorrow's task. It's only day 3 for me, am i a failure?

ludaloo · 09/01/2007 20:09

Ivor What ever is easiest for you

(does the leisure centre have high chairs?)

If you want to leave it for another day thats fine (so you don't need to rush..or worry about being late)...I have a car now until mine is fixed
I'm around all next week...only I can't get into town until after 12pm as ds is in Ysgol Meithrin until 11.30 Mon, tue, wed and Fri..

Or if you want me to come a bit later on thurs thats fine too...

tortoise · 09/01/2007 21:31

Hi all.

JustIvor · 09/01/2007 22:26

Hello to all.

luda I don't know either if the Leisure Centre has highchairs. Oooh, I don't know, decisions, decisions. Not helped by me drinking half a glass of wine. Yes, I know I'm a lightweight! Right, the choice is either a) Morrisons at about 11am, Morrisons at about 1.45pm or else Thurs or Fri next week. You choose! Btw, are you signed up for cat? I think we should, really, make plans off board. If not, I can easily sign up for cat and then we can e-mail our final decisions to each other.

JustIvor · 09/01/2007 22:29

Just a quick 2nd post to say that I find these daily threads a real help to me, even on days that I work, I do more as a result of these threads and I want to say thanks to everyone for the support and friendship we give each other.

tortoise · 09/01/2007 22:34
