Frothy milk

Hello, does anyone have any advice re milk frothers? Is the aerolatte stick thingy any good?
Otherwise I'm looking at an electric thingy, but it's only going to froth sodding milk and I'm not sure I want to pay more than £50 for a gadget just for that Confused I'd just like some froth on a coffee sometimes and to give the kids a treat.

I have a battery operated stick milk frother, not an aerolatte but a cheap one that only cost a few quid in Lidl, and it works perfectly for frothing coffee and hot chocolate.

So I'd say there's no need to pay a lot if you don't want to.

alpaca thank you. How "firm" is the foam? I really like foam, I'm probably a weirdo, and that's what I can't seem to find is a good description of the foam in reviews.
