oven cleaning?

Wonder if any you can help I seen something regarding cleaning an oven with bicarbonate soda and vinegar (can't remember where I seen it) anyway I've bought the stuff but don't know what to do as in mixing the stuff and how long I should leave on for? Also what's the best way to get shells clean again possibly without the oven pride!

Can't help with the bicarb & vinegar part but I have just scrubbed my shelf and side bits in the sink with some metal scouters. Like these

Although they fizz up when combined, they actually cancel each other out as one is acid and the other alkali.

If you have a dishwasher buying the scenes in it on a hot wash.

Use a dishwasher tablet dunked in boiling water and use it to rub the oven door- it's a tiny miracle the way it works Grin
