Stinky car - help!

I've been driving my 'new' car for a few days now (it's a good few years old) and whatever jiggery-pokery the dealer did to mask the smell of cigarettes has worn off. He told me that it had had the same owner since new hence the strong odour.
I can't stand it.

The seats are leather and the rest, roof, floors etc is that felty fabric.
I've usually got my small DS in there with me so it has to be safe! Or I'd be attacking it with all sorts

Any ideas of how to clean and freshen the interior? It looks clean but stinks!

I have an old car. Paid 50 quid to get it done properly. Best money i ever spent. Looks and smells brand new. Well within reason.

Bread soda, do the shake n vac with it and it will absorb the smell, then hoover. I would rub it in all over, wouldn't care if it looked like a bomb had gone off in a cocaine den, just do it! Then hoover it up after a couple of hours / days. (Also great for absorbing smell of vomit.)

Failing that I'd go back to the car dealer and kick up a stink (no pun intended).

Thanks for your suggestions.
I think I'll get it professionally cleaned! It'll be worth it I think.

I would be taking that back to the dealer.

It is their problem and they need to fix it !!
