To have a decluttered house? I'm looking for some motivation to start some serious getting rid of stuff. But I need some people telling me how good it feels to help me be ruthless. So come and tell me your wonderful tales of how good a decluttered house is please 🙏

OMG it's amazing. I mean, you open a cupboard & are overwhelmed with a sense of peace/smugness which is a shockingly happy combo I can tell you. Grin

Also spend hrs wandering back & forth to gaze in cupboards you've organised. Tragic really.

I feel like I am living in a hotel. Chic. Clean.

Still a way to go but life is easier.

Did you both use the Kondo method? Haven't tried that yet

I did. At first I thought it was bonkers but the fact that you start with clothes is really cathartic because you see a big difference almost immediately. Before now I've spent a day sorting paperwork and can't tell after 8hrs which is depressing.

I am doing a cupboard a day downstairs now. I know I'm meant to do it all at once but physically there isn't time.
