I NEED to tell you about my new robot hoover. It's called the Neato Botvac connected and it is amazing. It trundles round the house like a mad trilobite, cylon-scanning each room, sweeping all the edges and then running backwards and forwards across the floor. It basically does all the work for me, while I trail open-mouthed in its wake.
This is what it picked up on the first clean!! And my floors weren't looking especially dirty - I hoovered on Sunday with my normal Miele cat and dog vacuum.
My house looks immaculate for 0 effort. The only problem is figuring out whether it's now going to enslave me and the cat, as a preliminary to taking over the world.
