Argh! biro ink on carpet

Ddog has chewed up a black biro on a cream wool rug. I've been reading stuff about hairspray..... What's really going to get this out?

You may be able to claim on your house insurance if you can't get ithe stain out. Black ink and cream rug doesn't sound like a good combination.
