Water marks on sofa - is there a remedy?

Does any one know of any way of removing water stains from sofa fabric (not removable)? I've washed the seat covers before, and they've come out fine, but I tried using soap and water after a nappy cream incident on the non-removable bit of the sofa and now I have horrible tide marks...help!

In the absence of any better suggestions, you could try VANISH STAIN REMOVER FOR CARPET & UPHOLSTERY. I haven't tried it on sofas, but it's great on plain carpets. Good luck!
