Tempur mattress questions

Hello :) we have one, few questions though! I think we need a waterproof mattress protector for it? But that's a hassle for us to wash without a tumble dryer so can I put a normal mattress protector on top of the waterproof one to wash monthly? Or does that defeat the point?!

Also do I need to turn the mattress?

Always turn mattresses.

We were told not to use any kind of mattress cover with our Tempur.
Also it definitely shouldn't be turned.
