Despite having spent way too much time on here today!

Iron school uniform, load up bags and sort out stuff for packed lunch
change beds DONE
put away washing and sort out odd socks (where do they keep coming from?) some done
order new socks for kids (they only have odd ones!) done (and some storage solutions for their bedrooms too)
hoover and dust downstairs done
hoover and dust upstairs started
clean kitchen done
do mailing for pre-school done
help dd write thank you letters

Not bad - have a friend who owns a permenantly immaculate house coming soon so have been spurred on by the shame of her seeing my pig-sty! Will keep going upstairs till she arrives....(or may just lurk on MN a while longer...)

look at kids rooms and prepare myself for the worst screamed

Have been rushing around for work today, popping home every now and then and silently screaming as have not time to touch anything

Tried to find a hospital appointment letter for ds1 and ended up with piles of papers all over the office floor which I can now not even get into.

DH back at work today and my day has seemed v. peaceful. Coincidence?

because you'd only had four months of no sleep then. Now you have had 10.

Don't beat yourself up about it, just start again tomorrow....be warned I will look up the real FL mush if you still feel bad tomorrow.

Am exhausted but roasting a chicken. Got in after work and have

Collected my hoover from service
Brought new lights for Ds bedroom
Brought new shades for hall
Ordered new lights for kitchen
Shopping for things I forgot yesterday
Sorted some finance stuff

Also been to work and doctors and delivered kids to and from school!

Off to try hoover and sort out bags and lunch boxes, whilst preparing dinner and tidying my hotspots.

well I have done a 30 min run aroundkitchen and dining room - feel alot better.

will go make beds and sort chritmas tree stuff next.

Just realsied out of the 5 kids in my hose only 2 of them had lunch. So two guest kids have not eaten since brekafast!!

Well I prised myself off!! I can't keep away from the 9/11 thread...way too interesting...

But I have managed to...

Load diswasher...it needs emptying now though for the dinner plates to go in..
2 loads of washing..
Hoovered (although you'd never guess)
Tidied kitchen

Then a friend and her 2 dd's came round and the kids bedrooms look like a bomb has gone off...and cups and half eaten biscuits are strewn around the place...

Dinner is in the oven..
Ds is in a very annoying mood...has spent all afternoon whinging...and still is

Need to do one last hoover before dh gets in and try to reserect the upstairs

I was wondering about tort too, hope she's OK.

Kids are in bed nice and early ready for an early start tomorrow (it's going to be so hard!) Supper for me and dh is cooking.

My list for today is almost complete. Haven't written any thank you letters yet so they'll have to wait till the weekend.
Have managed to get school /pre-school clothes sorted and hanging up ready for the morning and also do dd and dh's packed lunches (all except sandwiches, like to do those fresh in the morning).
Need to clean dd's shoes now and sort out her bag. Found her plimsols earlier and they have a huge hole in the toe so will have to do for a couple of days till I can get some more at the weekend.

Think that's it for now. Haven't read posts since I was last on but hope all's well with everyone

Well, I have literally just come in from work and switched on MN

Nothing has been done yet so I'm off to do that load of washing, sort the dinner and bath DD. As soon as she is in bed I'm going to do my hotspots, set the video for Celebrity Big Brother and then I am going to sit down and do all my paperwork from work today. Got a new child starting for which I am the key worker, so loads to do!

Ruby, I'm pleased to hear that its possibly only the top of the toe rather than the whole foot. Hoping things get better for you soon hun!

glad MIL is looking comfortable ruby toe sounds sore though... Is it a circulation thing?

well first day flying and have managed to get christmas tree down needles swept and hoovered and this is the best bit just made it ot skip before 5pm to dump it and wreath.

fantastic smell of that skip!!! so cheated and after making it to bank beforehand and post office collect late pressie kids wanted mc donalds but refused!!!! but did take them to pizza hut. I just didn't want my sink to get dirty hee hee!!!

kids are well on way to bed and have to make lunches for tomorrow.

manged to get lamp shade onto landing and removed dead flies from 2 bathroom lights.

still loads to do not bad for first day. thanks for encouragement.

I have had a breather and done some washing up of lunch boxes, cooked roast chicken and baked potatoes, hoovered the ground floor, tidied a hotspot completely and put washing in the drier. Am now booking coffee with a friend and feeling much better.

Hello to all. Sorry, I tried to post about 3 times a day or two ago but was interrupted each time. As for my name, the "Just" bit was a bit of a play on the Just William stuff I vaguely remember from my childhood and was partly as a result of losing the rest of the name. I may or may not drop the Just bit, I haven't decided yet. I read what you'd written before about it luda.

I'm not back in work until next week. We've had a busy couple of days with redecorating and a handful of appointments for me and the kids. Today's list:-

~ Take kids to town and appointments done
~ Walk the dog for about an hour done
~ Put washing on the line done but now wetter than before!
~ Do some tumble drying nearly all done
~ Put kids Christmas thank you notes in envelopes ready to post not done yet

That's it I think. Sorry, I've barely glanced at today and yesterday's thread. Will catch up again in a day or two.

Done 15 mins on my front door hotspot but still more to do, taking a break on here and then will do 15 more mins. Unfortunately got 2 months post dropped round from old house and it looks awful!!

Done dishwasher, got a washing load in and have made dinner for all 3 of us and washed up and put away

Oooh and ex-DP (who stilll lives here) has just done a 27 fling boogie in his room, and then cleaned the bathroom!! Wonders will never cease.

So, so very much still to do tho...
