I've just had a dishwasher delivered, although DH won't be plumbing it in for a couple of weeks Angry

Can you recommend me your tablets / rinse aid / salt / all in ones?

Thanks!

I use fairy or finish tablets but only buy them when they are on offer. I use own brand rinse aid and dishwasher salt

heritagewarrior · 04/03/2016 12:22

Exactly the same as the PP!

Finish tablets - I've also tried the daisy powder recommended on MN, but it left spots.

I use Aldi Magnum all in one tablets. No need for salt as the water is very soft in our area. The Fairy ones tainted anything plastic or silicone washed in the machine. Took ages to get rid of the perfume taint.

Are the Finish / Fairy tablets you're using the big standard ones or fancy ones?

I don't use the super duper fancy ones as they are expensive even on offer.

Another vote for Aldi Magnum, but I use separate salt & rinse aid. I find it washes and fries better

The Aldi ones always get the good housekeeping institute seal of approval.

Branded tablets are still tested on animals so I boycott them.

I'm using Tesco Daisy powder, own brand rinse aid and own brand salt.
