table covers - where to buy?

our table is used for eating, painting, cooking, jigsaws etc. and I really think I need one of those wipe clean covers but cannot find one anywhere. Have tried lakeland, tesco and debenhams to no avail - do you have one, if so where from.

I know this post is dull as ditch water but please help me if you can!

like the heavy plastic wipe clean ones or a table cloth type thing???

You can buy plasticised cotton from lots of soft furnishings shops (John Lewis has a good range as do most of the cheaper soft furnishings suppliers).

try a cheap curtain/linen shop otherwise Laura Ashley and Cath Kidston do wipeable fabric , by the metre.

ebay have lots

Someone posted a link on here some time ago to an on-line company that sold the wipe-clean type by the metre. There were lots of designs too.

I'd be interested too as I think we need sometghing similar for the same reasons - our stripped wood dining table is in danger of getting ruined as DD and DS get into their art and craft!

thank you thank you - lots of replies and ebay - inspired!

Dunelm do them by the metre and Tesco do one for about £2 - but it's not very robust.
Or there's this attractive number from Argos?
