How do I clean leather/suede boots that my DD peed on?

My DD has these boots:

She wet herself and covered her boots in wee. The suede bit has watermarks on it, and they are generally covered in wee. I have no idea how to clean these?

I have used vinegar to get stains out of suede in the past, though I don't know how it would work on a larger area. Maybe worth a try though? Or you can get special suede cleaning solution, which might be a safer bet.

Do you think the boots can go in the washing machine or will they be ruined? They are only a week old!

I wouldn't put them in the washing machine, but a good rinse to get the wee off would probably be ok.
