Vinyl flooring.

Anybody have any cleaning tips for vinyl flooring? We have wood effect vinyl in our living room and since moving in it has become very dull (newbuild property so everything was brand new and shiny!)

Does anybody know of any products that will make it look new again?

Maybe it is dulled by a build up of cleaning product residue?

Try mopping with plain soapy water, fairy liquid of similar, then rinse with plain hot water, perhaps twice, to remove any left over stuff?

There hasn't been any cleaning products used on the floor - I just steam mop it! I'm wondering if the steam mop is what has taken the shine away now from it being too hot

If it's a new build then maybe the guarantee will cover replacement flooring?

You can buy polish to put shiny finish on your vinyl. Might make the floor slippery though.
