How to remove black felt tip from school jumpers

Is there something that is guaranteed to get black felt tip pen from school jumpers?

I have tried oxy pre-wash stain remover, napisan and after googling hair spray but have achieved patchy results at best.

I'd like to know this too! The pen marks do fade away bit with each wash but nothing I've tried has done a good job - I'll check the cupboard and list things that don't work later!

Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) will at least fade dry-wipe marker pen. You might have to buy it online? DH uses it for cleaning electronic gear but I nabbed it for school jumpers.

I don't know if this works or not, but I was told to soak pen stains in milk.

Don't use WD40 I tried that it didn't work and left a grease stain that I also couldn't get out.
