Had an electric shower fitted about 4 years ago (fed from mains not tank)and all fine until this summer when it has started showing low pressure and so the water goes cold. This only happened occassionally at first but has become more common as the months have passed. Over last week have had enough pressure to have 2 showers, getting fed up and have started not to bother trying shower and just running bath but feel so much cleaner having shower...any advice?

Ours doesn't run as warm in the winter simply because the water going into it is colder and takes longer to heat, if it started doing this in the summer then doesn't sound like this, blocked shower head? someone turned stop cock a bit? We have a tap under the unit in the kitchen that affects the feed into the washing machine and the shower makes a big difference.

We had a shower pump fitted in our airing cupboard, makes a big difference but quite noisy.

Is head blocked?

We found replacing shower head made a massive difference. Sounds also as if cold pressure too good, maybe turn up hot water temp on boiler or run cold tap whilst shower is on
