Dishwasher Emergency!

Our dishwasher has broken AHhhhh! Has anyone had one repaired. How much might it cost? I realise this will depend on the part but assuming it was something inexpensive what kind of call out charge might there be and who should I call? Would i be better getting a new second hand one?

It depends what the fault is. Had a dishwasher pack in a few months back, heating element went. Cost of replacement element with labour was more than a new dishwasher!

Post a query over there (you need to start your message with the Make and Model Number of your dishwasher, get details from a metal plaque somewhere on your dishwasher where it also gives the appliance power rating) along with as much detail as you can about the fault. The engineers over at ukwhitegoods will give you their views as to what the fault is, and you can use the site to find a local engineer, if a repair seems viable.
