Just noticed the old thread was full, so hope no one minds me starting the new one

I'm game, about to do my second round this year, I was far too easy on myself last year! I've got a master list taped in the kitchen cupboard and ready to be ticked off again.

I think I shall wrote the master list out in my Bullet Journal.
Just need to get the stuff out of the house now, hopefully tomorrow.

This afternoon I kondo'd cutlery. We had two sets plus random extras... I have decided we do not need 13 soup spoons. We rarely have guests for dinner and when we do it isn't soup. So we now have 5. DH was horrified at the cull, especially when he queried the cull of table knives and asked what would happen when we'd used some and then needed some for guests - wash the used ones dear! Hoping this encourages more washing up (sneaky). Also kondo'd utensils and got rid of a dodgy duplicate masher, a nut cracker (we don't buy shelled nuts) the garlic press (fiddly to clean and we don't use it), a cake slicer thing and a duplicate set of digital scales that when testes with new battery doesn't seem to work any more.
Feeling very pleased with myself. DH is not. He finds it very unsettling when I declutter or move things (bless him!) But as he isn't ever going to do it, he has to lump it.

3 bags of clothes actually out of the house (always the hard part!).

A new thread would be great! We started towards the end of last year. I read her book and became a konvert!

Currently waiting to go, I've got 2 bags of kids clothes, a set of cake tins (prefer using tubs) and a set of cheap cutlery bought to get us through entertaining at Christmas. Need to go through kids toys but did manage to clear some before Christmas.

Shall we have a new new thread? For 2018?
