Mouse poo in toaster...

Said toaster is a spare, now required. Brought it in to clean it. Found two v definite bits of mouse dropping.... What to do? It's only been out there a few weeks........

Squirt it with some Dettol. It'll be fine.

We had a mouse in our side porch last year, it was a gross overreaction on my part but I threw the toaster and an old blender because I couldn't stand the idea of eating from it. Plus I had an irrational image of toast popping up with lightly toasted mouse stuck to it.

I realise IWBU.

I still haven't replaced the toaster.

My friend found a toasted one in her toaster once. That was exciting.

My stepdads brother found a mouse skeleton in his. He continued to use it.

a new toaster is very cheap and easily purchased from your local supermarket or can even be delivered to your door without you having to even step outside. We live in a wonderful world.

Agree with cheapo supermarket replacement. I only ever have those sorts of toasters. Use them to death for years, then they give up the ghost. Great toasters imo.

Maggots fell out of our school toaster. I binned it.
