Merry Christmas everyone! Have a wonderful day and enjoy NO FLYing!
Well except the normal christmas cooking and tidying up that cames with it!

See you all soon.

OOOOh, my type of FLYing now! Tomorrow will probably be the day I get my act together and spring clean the house, and have nowhere to boast about it! I did do alot of cleaning today though!

IvorthePolarExpress · 25/12/2006 19:17

Merry Christmas to all who join in on the FLY threads! I hope you've all had a good day.

TinsellyRhino · 25/12/2006 19:22

rofl I am sooo shit at flying normally that i have actually dsone more today than I normally manage but it's all to do with th efact that I've been drinking and we have had gusets and dh hasn't been stuck away on the computer all day so I have felt like someone gives a shit and not felt like a horrid shitty crap mummy so I've wanted to tidy and do things

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 25/12/2006 19:35

Hey christmas FLYers! Hope everyones had a great day.
We have! All loved their presents and were excited to see santa had been.[fsmile.
DD's still up playing! Dinner went well although as i predicted they ate hardly anything! wasn't worth the hastle really!

I was when DS's went.It was horrible ending the fun with them and seeing them leave. But they will be back tomorrow at 5 until 5pm wednesday.

DD2 was naughty a when i was making their tea. They both had a yogurt and DD1 said DD2 had got some on the sofa.I think ok thats fine it will wipe off. They when i came in the front room i saw she had smothered DD1's keyboard in yogurt. It took about half an hour to get clean. Then i had to take it apart to get the yogurt out of the inside of the keys! Grrrr Little monkey! Its working fine now luckily!!

merry christmas!!!
just wanted to boast: we had a perfect day. children got everything they wanted from santa and a lot more. christmas dinner was gorgeous. DP's family loved it. the kids behaved themselves. the house was clean and tidy. and it was pretty much stress free. i think FLYing the last couple of months has helped me a lot to get most aspects of it all organised.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 25/12/2006 20:26

Yay Asleep.Glad you had a perfect day.

Hiya Christmas FLYers.

Glad you had a fun time tortoise.

DD2 did not like the tune that DD1 was playing lol Glad you got it sorted though

Rhino, I don't know what would be worse. FLYing and the other half take NO notice Or FLYing and NO one to take any notice of what FLYing has been done.

I FLY for myself (don't have anyone to FLY for.) It does make me feel happier when the place looks clean.

As for my Christmas Day, Its not really been one. DS1 started being sick at 5am.
DS2 and DD have been very quiet. We have spent the day watching TV. I`m going to do the Xmas dinner when they are feeling better.

Pressies were opened but not really played with. I got them come cuddly pressies and they have been cuddled for most of the day though

DC are all in bed sleeping now. DS1 has not been sick since 3pm so I hope that the last we will see of that bug and it will go for good this time!!

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 25/12/2006 20:47

Great one asleep

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 25/12/2006 21:10

Oh HN. Sorry your day was spoiled by a bug.
I hope all are feeling much better tomorrow and enjoy their new toys.

Good idea to save xmas dinner until they are better.

My Mum phoned from Turkey which was a really nice surprise. So strange to hear her voice after about a year of not hearing it!

I'm having some tea now.DD's have just gone to bed.

Loads of mess to clear up soon too. WTF do i do with all the empy boxes??

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 25/12/2006 21:25

Least we had a good day at HNtree`s last week. I am hoping they will be better tomorrow, though I don't think DS1 will be that great going on how DS2 and DD have been.

Thats great that you mum called you. A shame she could not call you more in the year.

TBH I don't really feel hungry now. I have not eaten much today. I hope you enjoy your tea.

I have loads of boxes as well. The recycle lorry take the paper but not the boxes. They would have heaps if they did. I know they take boxes and card at the recycle centre/Dump, but there is no way of me getting there. There must be loads that are the same. It seems a lot to dump, when it can be recycled.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 25/12/2006 21:28

Dump too far from me too! Think they will probably end up on a bonfire!

Hope you are not coming down with the bug.

You should all be well for new years eve so have a mini party then maybe.

I just remembered I haven't told you all what my sister got the DC. It must of taken a lot of thought with what she got DS's .
Wait for it.Your going to be so impressed!!

A Cadburys chocolate snowman with a chocolate surpise inside!! (Chocolate balls)

And DD's wasn't much better. They got a phonics book and CD each.It says on the back 'perfect for children learning to read!' Oh yes my 2 and 3 year olds are learning already.

I feel ok in myself at mo. (the biggest wood thing in the house)

Thats a good idea tort. Most of the goody foods are in the freezer so it cant go off

I was looking at a frozen turkey for todays dinner. They did a little one that would feed 4 to 6 people. I thought about getting it/cooking it up for today and them making pies etc and then freezing it for meals another day. Glad I never got one now. Would have a whole turkey going in the freezer if I did. I also seen that they had a use by date of 2010!! (kept frozen of course).

I might just open the tin of choc I got. They can be my tea.

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 25/12/2006 21:50

A case of..........

"That will do!" then.

It does not take much thinking though really.

DD would have been better off with the choc and DSs some books.

If some family members had brains they would not know what hit them.

For DS1 first Xmas (11 months then), XP1 got him a dot to dot book and pens.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 25/12/2006 21:56

Yeah.

And she asked me to get her DS(my nephew) the over the hedge dvd! Hopefully i can get it cheaper now xmas is over!!

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 25/12/2006 22:01

I remember you saying that she asked you to get that DVD. I hope you can get it cheaper.
I feel sorry for her Ds, It must be hard for him when his mum does not try and do things that would make him look good. iykwim

There might be some unwanted copies on ebay soon
