Hi everyone.

Off to a party this afternoon with DH and Dds so expect DD2 to gets lots of attention.

House is pretty tidy ready for Christmas. Just need to change our bedding and hoover upstairs and that's it then until Boxing day when I will need to have a whizz around as inlaws are coming over.

Ivor Not going in to town now before Christmas I shouldn't imagine, I'd like to of seen them though. Dh is working so he may of been passing that way.

Well I have put one final effort into the house this morning:

Tidied upstairs
Changed sheets and duvet covers
Unloaded/loaded Dishwasher
Put washing away
Vacummed
Cleaned the Hamster out (GGGRRRR)
Put load in and took load out
Put bread maker on to do a fruit loaf
Nipped over to corner shop to get Coke, cream and milk
Made lunch

Left to do:
Clean Oven
Tidy Kitchen
Put last of washing away
Um Thats about it I think!

Nearly Christmas now HOORRAAYY!!!!

Ds is curled up on the sofa all poorly. He does seem on the mend though which is good.
Dd1 is hyper!!!!!
Dd2 has already unwrapped a present (ds' present) from under the tree while I wasn't watching her! It was a pressie from a friend...I hid it and will have to re wrap it for him!

Afternoon all.
Had another tidy round this morning as i knew my Sister was coming round.Then popped to town for basics and a few extra stocking fillers!!
Sister got her just as i was walking along the road! I'm glad i hoovered before going out.
Nephew was fine about waiting for present!!

DS's will be over at 5. I bet they will be hyper and excited. DD's are!

I'm going to go and put the washing away now.

Oh yes...its the afternoon! Gosh today is whizzing by!

I bet you can't wait tort! I really hope you have a fab time with all your little ones all together!

I am desperately trying to organise my house into some kind of order, but am finding it really difficult. It's hard to know where to start and EVERYTHING needs doing (I'm not exaggerating!).

Have managed to get DD off my hands for a few hours so I can get on but I need some motivation.

Where do I begin? How do I begin?

Please help!

Just one job at a time.
What exactly needs doing?
Maybe put a load of washing of if you need to and load DishWasher if need to.
How about starting in one room? Do the bathroom first then have a break for 5mins.Then choose another room.

I think a good way to start a room is to have a box/basket and chuck everything in it that doesn't belong in the room and then go round rooms putting those things where they belong.

Ive just put all the washing away and its arctic upstairs! Absolutly freezing!

Also out the fake fluffy snow down in boys room from last year! It was sort of a roll of white fluff that i cut to size last year to decorate their room!

Just home from work. A good day, very busy (work in a shop) but fun. Glad to be home now, am v tired though and looking forward to puting the kids to bed.

No housework done today but dh has been bust rushing around all day with various last minute jobs.

Wrapping tonight which will be nice - I quite enjoy wrapping everything up so I'll enjoy that. Need to change the beds but that'll wait till tomorrow morning when I'll also do a quick whip round with the mop and hoover, then nothing other than keeping on top of the basics over the next few days....

I'll be around on and off over the holidays cos we're not going away, just a few visitors coming to us.

Hi all. Just a quick post tonight as DD has been unwell and she might be sick again. I have lost count how many times she has been today. I needed to go to town for bread and milk but have not got round to that today.

DSs are very excited, only one day left until Santa comes DD tried bless her, but she is just to unwell.

I hope to post tomorrow, but for those who wont be around.......

P.S Sorry I could not post yesterday, I could not get the pages to load. Kept getting, "page could not be found" Yet I could talk to Tort on MSN. Don't know what was wrong with it as its ok now and I have not done anything.

My DSs have been mad also tort.

I have my fingers crossed that DD is better tomorrow. I feel so sorry for her has she really wants to have fun but just has not go the energy to do it. She was bad again just a few minutes ago, not much so I hope she is on the mend. Least there is still a day before the big day. Hoping that we all don't get this bug again over Christmas.

DD and me are off the bed now. See you all tomorrow.

Oh and I never got a card from my dad today, so a guess that the ass hole has not bothered to send any, although I sent him some from us here 3 weeks ago and I know he has got them as he signed for them.

This might give you a giggle! I was messing around with DS's playing UNO earlier and went to call DS2 a pratt cos he was messing around being silly but i said prick by mistake. They thought it was hilarious !!!

Morning!!!!!

We are up nice and early today!
Kids all VERY excited.... They have demolished their calenders as they have just eaten the last bit of chocolate!

Today my plan is to keep them occupied.
We are going to make christmas tree cookies.
I have Polar Express for them to watch.
I have bought "A Night Before Christmas" for them to read before bed too.

Ds is on the mend thankfully. His temp stayed down all night last night. He has wet the bed three nights in a row now though. I'm sure that has something to do with his horrendous coughing though.

Ivor Town sounds very busy...my neighbour went in yesterday for last minute bits and bobs.

HN I hope dd is feeling better today....there is nothing worse! I have been praying my three just get better for christmas. DD1 is just fighting the bug off..she seems just to have a cold.
DD2 is fully recovered now luckily...just big snots!
Ds seems to be on the mend, he has had a good week of high temp, cough,and vomiting.
He's MUCH perkier today!

I was not well yesterday, but spent the day in bed, and dp did thechildcare (That is a big Christmas present on its own)

DDs are just waking up, and we are out at mil for the day. No more FLYing here for a few days.

I hope everyone and families are feeling better today We seem to have escaped with only mild colds so far (am gripping huge piece of wood as I write this!) so hopefully won't be ill this year.

Once it got past midnight I got a bit fed up with the wrapping and all the nice bows and homemade tags were scrapped in favour of the "kids-did-it-themselves" look....

Having a lazy day today but do need to mop floors so am going to do that straight after breakfast then dd and I will make some mince pies/ginger biscuits before lunch. I have a Christmas film to watch later so hope to have some snuggles on the sofa with the family, then we have friends coming at 4ish to join us at Christmas eve carol service early evening.

If I don't make it back (though I'm sure I will!) Merry Christmas {fgrin]

We have just watched "Polar Express"
I was the weepy one!!!!!! Its sooooo lovely!

We are now munching on a huge tin of Quality Street....yum!

Making biccies in a bit....had cheese and ham toasties for lunch.

Oh missed the "eve" off! (wishful thinking!)

Salt dough shapes have been painted and glitter sprinkled!! Sooo much mess but they had a great time!
They ended up painting their own faces.That was fun to wash off the DD's!

They are all off playing together so now that ive cleared up all the paint i'm having a rest!

Small piece of gammon is in the slow cooker.1st time ive used it in ages.Thought i would stick a bit on the plates cold with xmas dinner tomorrow.

We've just finished our mock Christmas dinner (roast chicken with scaled down trimmings) because we're having a veggie Christmas dinner with family tomorrow and although I don't mind that at all, dh fancied a "proper" lunch today. Haven't overdone it though, just a regular Sunday roast really.
Glad you enjoyed the Polar Express Luda - it's lovely isn't it? We watched it a couple of weeks ago and dd was in tears by the end! I was going to watch Christmas film now but am not sure we'll have time before our friends arrive so may get out a game to play with the kids instead...
