How do I get biro scribbles out of fabric?

As the title says!
I have a very creative 3 year old for whom any surface could end up a work of art! I also have a 6 year old who always leaves her pens around where the 3 yo can find them!
My current project is biro on her bed sheet.
Please help!

Similar problem here - DS managed to get a biro in the tumble drier with the towels.

He is 17

Stain Devils do one for biro/ink.
I find them really good, you can buy them in the supermarket!

Hairspray (lots) on the biro marks, then wipe. Worked on a sofa I had.

Thank you. I've seen stain devil stuff in my local supermarket.

LineyReborn · 25/01/2016 16:54

Momi does any hairspray work, ie the cheap stuff?

MrsHathaway · 25/01/2016 16:57

Biro is oil based. A good oil stain remover will lift it. I recommend Swarfega.

I know that, fot Indian ink, hand-sanitiser gels do the trick. Might be worth a try on biro ink.

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 25/01/2016 17:54

For not fot.

Cheapo hair spray worked on the many biro marks I used to get on my lab coat. Was a student so economy brands all the way.
Spray like hell, try not to inhale and rub. Repeat until it's gone.

Another vote for hairspray

Mominatrix · 25/01/2016 18:36

Cheaply hairspray works best.

Wow, thanks for all the ideas! I've got some cheap hairspray so will give that a try tomorrow if it's not raining. There's so much to remove I might gas myself in an enclosed space Grin
