I desperately need a new iron & with the sales coming up I'm hoping to pick up a good one cheap.

They all look the same though (apart from the colours) - any suggestions please ?

Can't recommend one specifically, but I know when I get a new one I want a cordless one as the cord is always getting in my way!

has to be a tefal

IMO they are simply the best irons and really do iron clothes far better than any otehr iron!

My recommendation is DON'T IRON. I very rarely iron - went to a party with DH last night and had to hunt for the iron so he could do his shirt! It must be over a year since anything was ironed in this household.

Its a waste of time!!!

hi-jack alert. hello mama g. not seen you about for ages.

anyway, i buy cheap irons and replace them once a year they break as often as the expensive ones.

ok - so a tefal - what voltage ? heavy v light ? I bought a £20 morphy richarsd but that's gone back because it was too heavy, but didn't iron that well. Now got a £30 Tefal, but haven't tried it yet.

Have to iron clothes or we all look like ragbags !!
