Hope all goes well this afternoon. I amsure time is going very slowly. Not sure if I'll get a chance to post much after today. I just wanted to wish you well & send lots of warm wishes that the time with your dc's when it arrives is wonderful.
Family is so important at this time of year especially.

Well most of my list is done..just the hamster to do. I might leave it till tommorrow.

Ds is asleep...has had a high temp most of the day.
Dd1 is full of beans, after her christmas party
Dd2 is a bit snotty but other than that the Antibiotics seem to of done the trick! Last weekend was a nightmare, so hopefully they will all be ok for christmas crossed emoticon]

IVOR you have completely lost me with your Star thing.........I will re read it now.
I have always wondered how you make certain words Bold (I assumed your keyboards were fancier than mine!)

I have read the sentance
"I'm sure I'm an anorak for mentioning this, but if you put a star either side of done to bold it and use stars for the bullet points, you either get a visible star at the end of done or, if you take it away because the following bullet point star does the job for you, then the bullet point loses its star."

About 4 times and still can't get my head around it!!!

Been out all afternoon, but still got a bit done.
Get dressed done
Go to shops for milk. done (dd1 cried all the way because her feet were cold - and she is a wimp)
One load of washing - done
Dry frozen sheet that has been on the line for 4 days almost done - I peeled it off the line and it cracked when I bent it. It is now on the airer.
Wash up done
Shine sink
Hoover

Hello everyone! Haven't read through all the postings yet but hope everyone is well

We've had a busy day - we had to go and help decorate the church Christmas tree this morning then had friends over for lunch which has been really lovely. Our dd's did a show for us after lunch which went on a bit but they had fun and the little ds's just ran through every now and then disrupting things! A lovely start to the christmas weekend....if only I wasn't working tomorrow!

Had a quick tidy up before friends came so house was quite tidy but the kids rooms are now awful so need to spend some time in there before supper I guess.... Dd and ds are now watching cbeebies for a while cos they're really tired. May try to do a late nigght supermarket shop this evening but not sure if I fancy driving (it's 8 miles to nearest supermarket) in the icy fog! Maybe I'll be able to send dh instead...

quick update I've hoovered yipee now I can rest knowing that when my neighbiur feeds the cats when we are away its kinda clean. I even hoovered the fluff from the tumble dryer. I know thats a fire hazzard. Just incase cats decide to switch on the tumble dryer when we are away. Just about to mop floors. Nearly packed my stuff & somebits of DH's packed. That will get finished later once I've ironed. Also packed 2 bags of Ellie's clothes which no longer fit her to take to my cousin who had a baby in Oct. The Car will be very full Completed todays mission by wiping down window ledge & window in spare room & dusting picture frames which were on window ledge. There is no other furniture in that room to dust. I hoovered the spare bed as one of the cats sleeps on that.

Well DD's will be back in about 5 mins! All ive done is wrapped the last of the presents and cleared and hoovered stairs!
I really regret not getting on sooner.There is a basket full of washing to put away I could of got that done before now its too late!

SW went fine.DD's went with her to their dads and not long got back.
They had made me cards and gave me presents which they insisted i opened now! I let them do one each!!
Bit pissed off with it really.I don't want anything from him (Yes i know its from the DD's but,oh i don't know!).
Its only 3 lots of chocs and box of bics.

shouldbe Yes, the neighbour's parcel arrived at my house around 3.30pm after I'd waited in all yesterday and most of today for it! Her first name is the same as mine, the surname is different but the clincher is that it was my address on the parcel and she used to live here! What a saga! She must have been waiting in to receive it and so had I! Thanks for asking.

Right now:-
Tea is part made.
The spare bedroom is still a tip.
The landing is a tip as stuff is waiting to go up into the loft.
Dd has (fair play to her) cleared the dining table so that we can eat off it tonight which we'll need to do if a neigbour joins us for tea. I'm waiting for him to arrive home so that I can confirm that he is coming for tea. I love seeing it clear. I'm determined to not put the junk back, to sort it and keep it clear.
The fire is lit.
A load of washing is on.
Cakes are made ready for ds' party that he is going to tonight (take a plate of party food).
