I clean the filters every single time, I have removed the bit where you spin that little wheel round to ensure no bits of food are caught in it and I do that every time, I wipe it down inside every time - what am I doing wrong? Tiny traces of food all over the dishes after every single wash. Is it just a crap dishwasher?

We gave up on trusting the all in ones. We now use W5 tabs, salt and rinse aid, nice and cheap in Lidl.

It gets great reviews and we usually regret the alternative choices we make when we can't get to a Lidl.

Definitely W5 here too

I would old say the salt needs topping up too.

We use powder, salt and rinse aid.

If it's an Electrolux though it's just shit and you'll need a new one. This house came with an Electrolux which drove me half demented.

Have you checked the arms are still rotating at varying points of the cycle? Our whirlpool had this problem where the pipe carrying the water to the arm under the top rack comes loose and stops rotating. I had to open the dishwasher and push the pipe back into the correct position mid cycle each time.
