I wonder if anyone can help... I am trying to find a good mid-priced slicer/mandolin[e] and there seems to be very little guidance that makes sense.
I used to have a Borner V slicer which was fine as far as it went but I see the chef on Masterchef Professional and so on using their machines to make waffle cuts of potatoes and all sorts of other things. I want one in stainless steel if possible to avoid warping in use and for easy cleaning :)
I have looked on here and elsewhere but have yet to find a useful up to date recommendation - even Good Housekeeping seemed unable to help.
Does anyone have a product they could recommend? TiA
