we have had a D&V funfest here. and this tip, from my (sadly now ex) cleaner has got to be the closest thing to magic i ever heard:

bicarbonate of soda and water. maybe a little bit of soap, but no other chemicals or products.

gets the smell out totally and instantly. you vill be amazed!!

absolutely genius.

leave a bowl of vinegar and water overnight near the source of the smell.

next morning, voila, no more smell.

has worked in houses and in the car for me.

Got the bicarb tip from MN a few weeks ago to removing the smell of spilt milk. Worked first time. Fab!
