moving from a flat to a house - tell me what i need to buy

My family and I have lived in our flat for 6 years but have recently been offered a 3 bed house (with a garden!!!

for the garden, you need a lawnmower, the electric cable (if electric!) and a basic set of tools to keep plants trimmed. Beyond that it is 'what you want'.

housewise; presumably another bed and storage for the third bedroom?

beyond that - buy nothing. 'stuff' grows. Wait and see what you need. Kitchen equipment etc will be just the same.

I found that a fridge magnet to do list/ weekly planner was particularly useful. Helped me keep track and focus my thoughts, plus I get visual reminders every time I go to the fridge!
