Visited sil and she showed me her kitchen floor .
Around sink and washing machine there are splashes ( a perfect cartoon image of a splash ) which are many shades lighter than the neutral flooring .As if colour bleached from them . But not bleach ,just drips from laundry and washing up .
The vinyl has a slightly rough texture ,sort of non slip ,and she thinks the general surface is not really clean .But I think perfectly clean .
How can water do this damage ? Is there any way the marked areas can be restored ?
