How often do you clean your fridge.
Is it once a week, fortnight or monthly job?
:)

Erm maybe every 6 months if that I'm assuming you are meaning pulling out all the different compartments and giving them a good wash rather than a quick wipe.

Pointlessfan · 30/12/2015 15:42

I always imagine I will do it weekly before going to the supermarket but in reality every couple of months.

DamsenBerry · 30/12/2015 15:42

I give it a wipe down everytime I do the food shopping, because its practically empty at that point. I do a proper clean every couple of months I guess.

MsMermaid · 30/12/2015 15:43

I did it in September. I think it might be a yearly job in our house, or an "if it smells" job.

BackforGood · 30/12/2015 15:47

If I notice something has spilled
or
if I get to the bottom of the drawer I keep the veg in, then I will wash that out

but certainly not on a regular monthly basis or anything

IreallyKNOWiamright · 30/12/2015 15:58

Yes a good clean draws and shelves etc. it's a very small under counter fridge and a pain in the backside to bend down too and clean so I was kind of wondering how often people clean theirs and have a nosy ;-D. I generally give it a wipe when I have been shopping and make sure no food is out of date etc.

Once a year! It's just been done.

Donge13 · 31/12/2015 09:21

Every week before I go to the supermarket

Kim82 · 31/12/2015 09:23

Every week before I go shopping.

CheerfulYank · 31/12/2015 09:26

I want it to be a weekly job but it's probably once a month.

Ditsy4 · 02/01/2016 16:22

Every Saturday.

penguinsarecool12 · 02/01/2016 16:37

Weekly when i do the deep kitchen clean.

KathyCantDoInteriors · 03/01/2016 09:10

Erm.... yearly - if it smells or there's a build up of water at the bottom.

BasinHaircut · 03/01/2016 16:51

When it looks like it needs doing.

I'm not in the business of making extra work for myself.

CremeEggThief · 03/01/2016 16:53

Spills are wiped up straight away and food is never left to go off, but I only clean it properly every 3 months or so.

bigbadbarry · 03/01/2016 16:54

I did it just before Christmas. Am unlikely to do more than wipe up spills for a good 6 months now.

needastrongone · 03/01/2016 16:58

Same as Creme, maybe 4 months in reality, veg drawer is cleaned out more regularly, when empty. Why on earth would you do it more than this?

ijustwannadance · 03/01/2016 17:05

But do you all clean the fridge/freezer door seals? That is where the bacteria like to live and the mould can grow Grin

starfishmummy · 04/01/2016 00:14

A quick wipe out once a week but a proper empty it out and take the shelves out clean about twice a year or if there is a spill.

JaneJefferson · 04/01/2016 00:17

Would like to do it weekly but like others on here more likely it is monthly or every six weeks.

Ditsy4 · 05/01/2016 03:58

Yes I do clean the seals.
I can't imagine not cleaning the fridge. Your food is in there. Dust on the wardrobe ok but not cleaning the fridge for months yuk! You are putting yourselves and family at risk. It doesn't take long.
