Can I save my cashmere?

I foolishly washed a cashmere jumper in the machine. It was a cold wash with delicate washing liquid but it has shrunk about half an inch. Is there anything I can try to improve it?

½ an inch is a win - my cashmere washing disasters generally produced clothes for my kids' dolls!

I know. It's ok but it was perfect before. Wah!

I've tried all sorts to rescue shrunken items and not really succeeded yet. I fear you may be stuck with it.

Sometimes soaking in cold water and reshaping will make a difference.
