Exciting stuff - best detergent for floor washing?

Pale grey stone effect ceramic tiles, muddy dog and steam cleaning doesn't seem to clean properly so I've gone back to using a mop. Does it really make a difference what you use? The floor never looks clean.

We use the steam mop but put Detergent in the steamer!!! Naughty I know but it works!!!

we use either washing up liquid, bio washing powder (great for smells!) or all purose cleaner

I might try that with the steam mop too - mines rubbish so its just taking up space in the cupboard cos I've given up using it! Guess if it breaks it's no big deal

I've been doing it for about a year and the mop is fine!!!! I use a bit of flash concentrate or Amtico floor clearer!!!

Oh now I feel more naughty!!!!Wink

Was also going to say bleach with a dash if fairy liquid and hot water. And if water turns too dirty change water and. Repeat.
