Pale grey stone effect ceramic tiles, muddy dog and steam cleaning doesn't seem to clean properly so I've gone back to using a mop. Does it really make a difference what you use? The floor never looks clean.

Flash Floor cleaner from poundland and a £5 vileda mop.

Old fashioned string mop, hot water stardrops and soda crystals

Bleach and washing up liquid in boiling water :)

WipsGlitter · 19/12/2015 18:29

boo out steam mop is crap and I was thinking of doing that as I don't care if it breaks!!

VegetablEsoup · 19/12/2015 18:31

we use either washing up liquid, bio washing powder (great for smells!) or all purose cleaner

sooperdooper · 19/12/2015 18:31

I might try that with the steam mop too - mines rubbish so its just taking up space in the cupboard cos I've given up using it! Guess if it breaks it's no big deal

Nepotism · 19/12/2015 22:05

Thanks everyone, I shall experiment with all these!

Was also going to say bleach with a dash if fairy liquid and hot water. And if water turns too dirty change water and. Repeat.
