Magic tablecloth

Has anyone got any suggestions for a material to act as a tablecloth for a mum and toddler group. It should not feel too synthetic (so vinyl fabric is out) and should be plain and without pattern. Has withstand juice spills etc. Any suggestions or has such material yet to be invented

I'd go for a plain polycotton one in a darkish colour and sling it in the washing machine.

(well, actually I'd go for either no tablecloth at all and a wipeable table, or a PVC-coated fabric one, but this doesn't fit the brief...)
