We have had a new bathroom fitted and for the first time we have a shower screen.
I've noticed lots of sprays that you use on a daily basis on the market.
Are they worth the effort?

Definitely, they stop the build up of lime scale. The big debate in out house is whether you just spray it and leave it on or spray and clean.

I think just spray and leave it to do its work

I don't need a daily spray now I have my Karcher Window Vacuum - bought about a year ago after reading about its benefits on MN and wouldn't be without it.

Much better to buy a squeedgie and a chamois leather. Dry the taps while
your there... Keeps them nice and shiny.

Good grips do one that sticks on the screen. I prefer the wider one with a hook. Try Lakeland and anywhere for a chamois. Fake or real.

Dry the water = no limescale marks.

White vinegar is good for glazing, the only eco friendly bathroom cleaning product i use ha.

We are in a soft water area. I just rinse the screen and wipe down with a window wiper thing (like a car wiper).

The window vacuum is amazing! I never found the spray things that good tbh.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/12/2015 18:50

I use window vac too. Vinegar on a cloth keeps everything shiny.
