Hemnes Daybed Mattress

DD has this bed and loves it and I'm really pleased with its usefulness when we have guests (often). All our guests have commented that it is surprisingly comfy but DD has asked to have a 'proper' mattress on it. Has anyone used a sprung mattress on it (we can easily store the foam ones elsewhere) and did you get it specially made? TIA.

Would you need 2 for when the bed is turned into a double, or a sprung mattress for her, and the foam one for the guest bit?

I'd keep the 2 foam I've already got and use them for when it's a double and have her own on it most of the time. When we have guests she goes through to her sister's room so could take her mattress too!
