Hotpoint, Indesit & Creda dryer recall

Saw this on BBC news and thought it was best to share.

It doesnt just affect Indesit Creda and Hotpoint ones, DS2 has a Swan one bought from littlewoods thats made by indesit company

We've got one. Apparently they'll be in touch within 5 weeks.

Mine too is affected - it's an 8 year old Indesit.

Can't actually remember when we got ours - whether it was in this house or the previous one so I guessed. It's been great so I really hope whatever they do doesn't affect that.

Thanks very much for that, rabbit. I've now checked my machine via the relevant website and it's luckily not one of those affected - but a reassurance nonetheless. (And if it had been one of those affected (which it could well have been) then I wouldn't have known without your post.)
