cleaning a chair

Any tips on cleaning an upholstered chair? The fabric doesn't come off, and the arms and main cushion (pic is a section of that) are starting to look grubby!

Doesn't help the cat has decided that it's her favourite chair - once clean I'm going to get a throw for the seat cushion to try and save it a bit. Might toddler proof it a bit too.

I used to buy a vanish foam spray, which I think was for carpets and upholstery. I don't think I've seen it for a while, is it still available? Or is there something else I could/should be doing.

Thank you.

Halfords sell some good upholstery spray foam cleaners.
