very boring question about tights and laundry

This is a very dull question but there are several females in our home who wear opaque black tights for school and work. We are different heights and weights so cant go for sharing. What's an easy way of working out whose tights are whose, Nothing worse than putting on a 12 years old tights in the morning by mistake or mine all being nicked by a thieving teenager.

Do a different colour stitch in waistband for each person? E.g. Mum

  • red, dd1- blue dd2- yellow

Two suggestions: 1) Give everyone their own zip-up net laundry bag this kind of thing, named with laundry marker, so that their tights go in dirty and come back clean in their own bag, or 2) put a stitch of brightly-coloured thread (different for each person, obviously) in the waist band to make them easy to sort.

The laundry bag would stop them getting tangled with everything else too

Thank both great ideas, I think the stitch would work best for me.
