do you keep the trigger pressed continuously to produce the stram or press once and let go? Its a vax centrix steamer, I've read the manual.
It says "squeeze trigger to produce steam" then the next instruction says "move steamer continuously" Do I keep squeezing??
thx

Mine's a different make, but if it's being used as a hand held steam cleaner you do have to keep squeezing the trigger.

Mines a different make too but I have to hold the trigger!

Mines the vax and I have to keep squeezing the trigger - it's a bit crap actually !! Looking at the karcher one now as a replacement !

I opened my Vax steam cleaner tonight (got it free with their air lift vacuum) Already owning a H20 mop ultra, which does keep the steam on when you turn it on, I'm disappointed to learn on the vax you have to keep the button pressed.

You're not meant to squeeze it constantly but release a burst every few strokes with mine (Vax). Probably a safety thing as to why it's trigger to action.
