New Kids' Pyjamas - Wash before wear?

Before your dc's wear new pyjamas (or any other clothing/underwear) do you rinse them through or wash them?

I have new pj's for my dc's but the weather is wet where I am so I have no hope of drying them quickly.

What do you do? Am I being over cautious?

I always wash everything before wear. They have been through a lot in the factories, warehouses and the shops.

Not sure where you live, the washing been drying in 2 days here. I'm in the south though.

Def wash. They are covered in chemicals from being made otherwise

Thanks! They can wait a few more days for them then.

I don't wash new clothes now, not since they each turned about 1 year old...
