But I thought that you were being Anthea'ed - isn't this cheating?

JackieNoHoHo · 07/12/2006 14:17

Aren't you going to wait for Anthea to help you?

Well if it is just a bed and mattress, then the council would collect that for you (at least where I live).

Don't know - if I was being Anthea'ed I'd probably not bother to do any housework for months in advance .

we are cluttered upto our eyeballs. the loft is full as well. so in the spring i am hoping to join you with getting a skip, will also call the BHF for things which charity shopable to collect with their van.

decluttering is fab!

shouldbedeckingthehalls · 07/12/2006 20:26

I can't wait to find some time to clear out problem areas- our loft is a disgrace- I'll be suprised if we can find the Christmas decs this year! And we open the garage door to a wall of stuff! Goodness knows what it all is. We'll be planning a major spring clean I hope....

littlemissbossy · 07/12/2006 20:29

I've gradually been decluttering over the last couple of weeks - house is looking loads better, could have filled a skip easily!

santasaltire · 07/12/2006 20:34

Better get it filled quick then YG. Round here some contractors were doing up the houses and they had to change the skips every other day as everyone was putting their rubbish in them!

Have you tried putting your stuff on freecycle? You would be surprised what people want.

I have seriously emptied my garage and loft - people even took two old planks of wood and odd paving slabs.

Please give it a go before you fill up the skip.

Must be the season for it, I've got one coming on monday too
