Smell of smoke from Microwave Fire!!

My microwave caught fire yesterday whilst i was cooking a jacket potato! Any idea how to clear the smokey smell that is lingering. i have had doors and windows open when i am here but when you come in after being out it really stinks still! Help please!!!

I usually find that the best thing to do is half fill and a microwave tub with water and either add a lemon cut in half or a good shake of lemon juice and bring the water to the boil in the microwave. When the water heats up the lemon it makes it smell better, and your kitchen.

Oh I was just going to say that KJSW!
Dh burned a bag of popcorn in ours and it stunk!! Lemon did the trick though.

I usually find that I have to part with knowledge regularly at work as the darling pupils do not understand the concept of slowly does it when melting things like chocolate all they think about is the lovely chocolate. Mind you that was all I thought about at their age
