Bugger - red hair spray for halloween on cream carpet

Nightmare! Thought it would be cute to spray my toddlers hair red for his Halloween party tonight. I didn't factor in him having a tantrum and pressing the back of his head into the cream carpet before we left

I gave it a quick rub with upholstery wipes before we left and got the carpet cleaner out when we got back but there is a pink hued patch that will not budge. I've sprayed some Vanish on it too but nope, still the same.

Am i going to have to learn to live with it it or has anyone got any bright ideas as to what else I could try?
