ludaloo What are the initials of the garage? Is it a small local one or a franchise of a big name? If they have been misdiagnosing things and the bill is much bigger than it should be as a result then they shouldn't give you the whole bill, I wouldn't have thought. If they belong to a big name, you might have somewhere to complain to if they insist on you paying the whole thing. I hope they don't, though.

I have put a load of washing on tonight and the dw has done a load so I'm almost keeping up with the basics. I'm feeling tired tonight. I didn't sleep until nearly 1am as dh was away and I was feeling cold. It has been a long day, not helped by dd telling me this morning that I needed to collect her from school at 5pm, then not going to the practice due to a bad head (hit it on the swimming pool side whilst doing backstroke) and then forgetting to ring me and let me know! I could have been home about an hour earlier. I also had to go to the school 1st thing as she had forgotten to take dinner money. That reminds me, I gave the teacher £2 extra to give to her incase ds had forgotten too and I need to ask dd for it back as she'll pocket it accidentally or otherwise if I don't. As dh isn't home yet, I needed to walk the dog myself tonight and my hips and back are hurting. Not a happy bunny, all told! Ah well, only one more day of work this week then no more work 'til Monday. Perhaps I can get lots of Christmas stuff done then. We'll see. See you tomorrow.
