Acrylic sinks - stain removal and preservation . . .

I am moving house and it would appear that the kitchen in the house we are buying must be made of acrylic (sylex?). Having had ceramic or stainless steel before I am completely clueless about these but they appear to scratch and stain.

We can not afford to change the whole lot any time soon so is there anything that would shift stains on these?

I had one of these at my old house - I used to fill it up with water with bleach in and leave overnight to remove any stains.
