is there a way of getting a nice clean washing smell in your house.. apart from the obvious!

Obviously having washing drying around the place isn't always possible. I'm more of a reed diffuser kind of person than a glade plug in. Is there anything anyone can recommend which sort of emulates a fresh clean smell?? Thanks.

I put some lenor clothes conditioner in a spray bottle with some water and spray my cushions, rugs, fireplace and radiator lightly. The scent that fill the house is comforting.

OK so I overdid the tumble-drier-sheets-on-the-radiator and nearly gassed us all with the smell. To be fair I put 3 sheets on several radiators in the house which was a bit er... overpowering! I'll keep it to one sheet on a couple of radiators. Like the idea of essential oils on light bulbs... Also liking the parallel 'Chronicles of Narnia' thread .
